Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce Endorses Catharine Baker for Re-Election

Assemblywoman Catharine Baker (R-San Ramon) announced today that the Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce Business and Political Action Committee endorsed her re-election to the 16th Assembly District.

In their endorsement, the Pleasanton Chamber stated, “In her first two terms representing the 16th district, Baker delivered on her promise to bring a fresh perspective and bi-partisan solutions to Sacramento at a time when needed most for public education, labor and environmental law, unfunded pension liabilities, and economic development. As evidence of her success seeking bi-partisan solutions, Governor Jerry Brown said, ‘Catharine Baker is the kind of independent leader we need in Sacramento. She has worked across party lines to fight climate change while protecting California’s economy.’

“I am honored to receive the Pleasanton Chamber’s endorsement and I appreciate their recognition of my work across party lines to deliver real results for our community,” said Baker.

Catharine Baker is running for re-election in the 16th Assembly District, which represents Alamo, Danville, Dublin, Lafayette, Moraga, Orinda, Pleasanton, San Ramon, and Walnut Creek. She was first elected in 2014.
