Once Again, The East Bay Times Endorses Catharine Baker for Re-Election
Assemblywoman Catharine Baker (R-San Ramon) announced today that The East Bay Times endorsed her re-election for the November General Election, calling her, “a refreshing voice of independent thought in an overly partisan state Legislature.” Click here to read the full article.
“I’m grateful for the support of The East Bay Times for the General Election,” said Baker. “Since I was first elected I have worked diligently represent our community and take an independent and bipartisan approach in the Legislature. I am thankful The East Bay Times recognizes that.”
The East Bay Times released a statement calling on voters to, “Ignore opponent’s deceit, re-elect Assemblywoman Baker,” and that Baker’s opponent “sprays sweeping and false statements about [Baker],” closing their statement by saying, “Baker is the superior, and more honest candidate. She seserves re-election.”
The East Bay Times previously endorsed Catharine Baker in both the 2014 and 2016 elections.
Assemblywoman Catharine Baker is running for re-election in the 16th District and represents Alamo, Danville, Dublin, Lafayette, Livermore, Moraga, Orinda, Pleasanton, San Ramon and Walnut Creek.
