Walnut Creek Chamber of Commerce Endorses Assemblywoman Catharine Baker for Re-Election
Assemblywoman Catharine Baker (R-San Ramon) announced today she received the endorsement from the Walnut Creek Chamber of Commerce.
“I am honored to receive the endorsement of the Walnut Creek Chamber of Commerce. As an attorney who represented non-profits and small businesses, I know how much the Chamber advocates for the interests of employees and employers in Walnut Creek and Contra Costa County. Their commitment to education and economic development helps improve the lives of individuals across our community,” said Baker.
“The Walnut Creek Chamber of Commerce is endorsing Catharine Baker in the State Assembly race to represent the 16th Assembly District. She is a strong leader for our community in the State Legislature. Her work to support pro-job policies, streamline regulations for business, and promote workforce development and education opportunities, clearly makes her the best candidate for this office. Assemblywoman Baker has our full endorsement and we look forward to sending her back to Sacramento for a well-deserved second term,” said Linda Rimac Colberg, Chair, Board of Directors, Walnut Creek Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau.
The Chamber joins the National Federation of Independent Businesses' endorsement and hundreds of small business and families supporting pro-job policies in California. Comprised of approximately 800 firms representing more than 3000 employees, the Walnut Creek Chamber of Commerce is one of the largest accredited Chambers in the Bay Area. Accreditation by the US Chamber of Commerce requires the Walnut Creek Chamber to meet high standards of performance in planning, programming and conducting a well-balanced program of work.
